Located only 8 miles from the most visited whale shark site in the world. Sits right in the middle of the permit capital of the world. Located in the middle of the Victorian Channel, which is a migratory route for tarpon heading north bound and south bound. Also a biological team are working on replanting some damage coral around the reef. Island situated on a fringe reef that gives clients excellent snorkeling grounds. There is drop-offs around the island itself up to 120 feet, which makes it very easy for large boats to come right to the island and also makes the area excellent for scuba enthusiasts.
Also a prime nesting area for brown boobie birds, frigate birds, pelicans and yearly southbound migratory birds such as falcons, egrets, herons and also resident turns and seagulls. Perfect habitat for bait fish and other juvenile species, which makes the lagoon area a haven for tarpon. The island’s natural lagoon creates a perfect harbor for all types of weather condition. We protect lobster and conch around the island and we also started a small conch farm right around the developed area.
