Getting to the Property

There are two options for getting to and from Hopkins: road or air. The trip is usually beautiful by either means.


By Plane, There are dozens of daily flights between Belize City and Dangriga. Airport Flights leave from both Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport and Municipal Airport roughly every hour. If you are coming in on an international flight and heading straight for Dangriga, you should book a flight from the international airport. If you are already in Belize City or in transit around the country, it is cheaper to fly from the municipal airport, which is also closer to downtown, and quicker and cheaper to reach by taxi. During the high season, and whenever possible, it is best to have a reservation. However, you can usually just show up at the airport and get a seat on a flight within an hour. Almost any of the above Tropic Air and Maya Island Air flights can be used to commute between Belize city and Dangriga, the flight is 15 minutes.


From Dangriga, Hopkins village is a short 30-minute drive or 20 minutes by boat.
By Car, You can drive to Hopkins from Belize City, by way of the Hummingbird and Southern highways the roads are paved and safe. Drive time is approximately 3.5 hours.
The property is located just 5 minutes by boat from Hopkins Village.
